Briards have been my passion for more than twenty-five years.  My dogs have had tremendous success in the show ring, making breed history.  However, winning Best In Shows pales to the joy that they bring to every day of my life, and is by far the most special part of being owned by a Briard.  I strive to produce a dog that has a sound mind as well as a sound body.  Health and temperament are the most important things I breed for.  The beauty comes naturally to a well bred Briard that is structurally correct.  All of the dogs that I use for breeding have their hips and elbows x-rayed and evaluated by the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation For Animals).  DNA is checked normal for SNB (an eye disease in the Briard).  The eyes are checked annually for any abnormalities.  No dog is bred that does not pass all of it's health testing.  All of my dogs are shown to at least their breed championships.  Many go on to successful specials careers and become top ten Briards.  I breed to the AKC standard, staying with our old
